Summary

The book The Last Stop on Market Street, is about a young boy named CJ and his grandmother. After church they would go to the bust stop to take the bus to the last stop on Market Street. On this particular day CJ did not really want to go, and kept asking his grandmother a lot of questions. She would always answer his questions in a simple and wise way. This made CJ wonder how it was that she could see the beauty in everything where he couldn't.

Evaluation

I would use this book in class, because it shows the bond between a grandmother and her grandchild. It is a really good book and it teaches a good lesson. The book can be used to teach the students to look at things from a different perspective. It can also be used as a read aloud. The illustrations in the book are amazing and they really help when it comes to following the story and what it is about.
