Evaluation

I would most definitely use the book in class, because I think that it can be helpful to teach students that back then things were not as they are today. The book can be used in class to teach the students that life back then was different and that African Americans had a hard life back then. The book can also be used to teach the students about slavery and racism in a way. The drawings in the book were amazing, they really added to the story and depicted what the text said. Overall the book is a really great book and I would use it in class to help students understand that life is not always easy.
