Summary
This book is based off the song “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands.” It is a book about having the whole world in our hands, and how we are all connected. The book shows just how everything is connected in a way and how we have each other and everything we need. The book shows the unity of our world and just how different everyone can be.
Evaluation
I would probably use this book in class as a fun read aloud, by trying to somehow get it to with the rhythm of the song it was based on. The book is really good and the illustrations are bright and amazing because so much thought was put into them. The book can be used to teach the students about unity and accepting one another no matter how different we look. The book can be used to teach children about how even though there a different places in the world, we are all one together. The book can also be used to teach children about what the world and some of the common things that they see around them such as the sun and moon as well as animals. I listened to the song and tried reading the book to the rhythm but couldn’t, hopefully I can find a way, but it is a good book and I enjoyed reading it.
